The Argument from Poor Design says essentially that an Intelligent Designer does not exist because such a designer would not create a flawed design as is sometimes claimed to be found in humans and other organisms.
A flaw is a failure to do what the design is supposed to do. If the design does what it is intended to do, then by definition it is not a poor design.
An immediate problem arises with this argument because in judging the design to be bad, one must have knowledge of the purpose of the design. Without this knowledge, a judgment of good or bad cannot be made and therefore the argument fails before it even gets started.
That’s not to say the conclusion is faulty, but merely that the argument itself does not support the conclusion.

Hey John, see how easy blogging is? Time to get off your ass and get your own blog going.
As you can see, I installed WordPress on my personal website. For the moment I am using the default installation, but it can be customized and I can help you with that.
We should check with the hosting service for BCI Mensa to see if we can use WordPress as the CMS (Content Management System). That would be cool. And it would make the webmaster’s job easier, once everything is set up.
